Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid role based in Houston, TX or Minneapolis, MN. You will design, code, and modernize in-house applications supporting mid-office and B2B operations while mentoring engineers and setting development standards.

The role blends hands-on software development with technical leadership, owning architecture and participating in SDLC governance, CI/CD, and security alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Experience with Azure services (AKS, Functions, App Services, Data Lake, Data Factory, Logic Apps).
• Familiarity with service-oriented architectures and containerization.
• Front-end development experience with Angular.
• AI/ML experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for custom applications.
• Establish SDLC and change management processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Partner with IT leadership to align development with enterprise security and compliance.
• Evaluate tools and methodologies to improve code quality and CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain documentation for standards and portfolios.
• Lead design and development of web and enterprise applications, front-end and back-end.
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and drive architecture decisions.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex issues.
