Job summary

McCormick & Company in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Business Solution Owner to join the Digital Growth Enablement Team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role partners with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to translate needs into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, supporting data, reporting, automation, and analytics solutions.

You will drive backlog prioritization, coordinate testing and training materials, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics or other relevant field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Business Analytics, Project Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Digital Transformation, Technology Enablement, or related business-facing roles.
• Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting technology, reporting, analytics, automation, or process improvement initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and backlog management practices.

Responsibilities

• Requirements & User Story Development: Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify business requirements. Translate requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria that enable development teams to successfully implement solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination & Deliver Support: Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams; provide status updates and align on solution releases.
• Backlog Maintenance & Prioritization Support: Maintain and organize solution backlogs; help evaluate priorities and dependencies for implementation.
• Testing, Validation & Quality Assurance: Develop test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and provide guidance to team members.
