Job summary

McCormick & Co., Inc. is seeking a Business Solution Owner to join the Digital Growth Enablement Team at the Hunt Valley headquarters. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams.

The role focuses on maintaining backlogs, coordinating testing, and driving process improvements. Hybrid work arrangement supports flexible collaboration across functions and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics or other relevant field.
• 5–8 years in Business Analytics, Project Management, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Digital Transformation, Technology Enablement, or related business-facing roles.
• Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting technology, reporting, analytics, automation, or process improvement initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Understanding of commercial business processes including Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Planning, Marketing, Revenue Management or related functions.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and backlog management practices.
• Experience coordinating testing activities and supporting user acceptance testing.
• Experience developing training materials, business documentation, and user support resources.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and document process improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Ability to facilitate requirements discussions and document outcomes clearly and accurately.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders and projects without direct authority.
• Effective verbal, written, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting training, user adoption, and change enablement activities.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications with acceptance criteria.
• Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams; ensure alignment.
• Maintain and organize solution backlogs by documenting enhancements and defects; assist prioritization.
• Support testing by developing test scenarios and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation standards, and onboarding and training.
