Job summary

The University of Vermont is seeking a Business Operations professional for the Office of Primary Care (OPC) and Area Health Education Centers (AHEC). The role involves financial management, grant reporting, budget development, and coordination of multidisciplinary health workforce initiatives in partnership with the Program Director.

Responsibilities include coordination with SPA, Accounting, and Procurement Services, recruitment support, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of related experience.
• Effective financial management and communication skills.
• Ability to respond to a wide variety of individuals including the public.
• Attention to detail and strong time-management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide business administration and project management for OPC and AHEC programs.
• Manage financial analysis, budgeting, and grant reporting requirements.
• Serve as the PeopleSoft, facilities, and COMTS liaison for OPC/AHEC.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary health workforce and education initiatives with leadership.
• Support recruitment, enrollment tracking, funder reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Sponsored Project Administration and accounting teams.
