Job summary

CHEST in Glenview, IL is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the Business Development Division, coordinating contracts, budgets, reporting, and marketing support for funded programs.

You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and project teams to ensure timely reviews, compliant documentation, and accurate performance metrics for funders, while maintaining schedules for annual meetings and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of directly relevant experience
• Ability to manage and balance multiple competing priorities/projects
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Project management skills

• Hybrid work schedule: 2 days per week work-from-home, and 3 days onsite at CHEST HQ in Glenview; anchor days Tue/Wed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract processing for funded programs with stakeholders to facilitate timely review and approval
• Coordinate budget development and tracking of approved budgets and reforecasting
• Track reporting requirements and deadlines for funded programs and ensure timely funder updates
• Monitor funded-program timelines and milestones and communicate status, risks, delays, and upcoming decisions
• Gather program results and metrics for supporter reporting and resolve operational issues
• Maintain lifecycle and end dates of funded programs and plan renewals or future phases
• Monitor support and recognition statements to ensure compliance
• Ensure marketing and sales materials are developed and maintained
• Coordinate cross-functionally to support Annual Meeting funded programs
• Build and maintain centralized tracking systems for funded programs and pipeline opportunities
• Develop and maintain tracking for sales partner performance
