Insurance Office of America seeks a Branch Operations Manager for the Commercial Lines segment. You will lead the branch operations team, drive strategic plans, manage the budget, and serve as Account Manager for a book of business.

In a hybrid role, you will recruit and develop staff, enforce policies, monitor performance data, and promote IOA values while maintaining strong client relationships and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing.
• Exceptional account management skills; spending 50% of time managing a book of business.
• Strong communication, people management, and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations team and daily workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, costs, and financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision and mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed.
• Establish and monitor productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards.
• Encourage growth and development of personnel.
• Develop future branch operations leaders.
• Promote IOA values and improve engagement.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and interpret performance data.
• Maintain communication with Regional Director and sales leadership.
• Resolve operational issues with Branch 1099 sales personnel.
• Spend up to 50% of time on an assigned book of business.
• Develop and ensure compliance with core work processes.
• Enforce company policies and maintain high technical competence.
