Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead the operations of the assigned IOA branch. You will manage the operations team, implement strategic plans, oversee budgeting and reporting, and drive service excellence while personally handling a segment of an assigned book of business.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, 2+ years in management, and active property & casualty licensing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging knowledge in insurance operations.
• 2+ years of management experience in an insurance branch or similar setting.
• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• Exceptional account management skills with up to 50% of time spent managing a book of business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch operations team and oversee daily activities and workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and operational plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, cost control, and financial goals.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and personnel development to maintain a high-performing team.
• Ensure HR processes, policy compliance, and adherence to company standards.
