Job summary

Brown Plus is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper to join our team in Lancaster, PA. You will work with clients to provide accounting support across A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations, building strong client relationships.

The position can be based out of Camp Hill or Lancaster and occasional travel to client locations is required. Associate degree in accounting preferred and QuickBooks experience required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• Ability to travel to clients as needed.
• Desire and ability to grow and advance in this role.
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.
• Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting schedules.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting activities.
• Identify and research accounting discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Communicate directly with clients to obtain information, answer questions, and provide support.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet client deadlines and deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records.
