Job summary

Brown Plus is seeking an Outsourced Accounting Associate/Bookkeeper to provide accounting support for diverse clients, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations. The role can be based in Camp Hill or Lancaster, PA, with travel to client sites as needed.

The position offers growth within a recognized regional firm and collaborative team dynamics. Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in Accounting and experience with QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• Ability to travel to clients as needed.
• Desire and ability to grow in this role.
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.
• Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and supporting schedules.
• Assist with payroll processing and related accounting activities.
• Identify and research accounting discrepancies and recommend solutions.
• Communicate directly with clients to obtain information, answer questions, and provide support.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet client deadlines and deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records.
