Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a BIM Coordinator III to lead daily BIM coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and electrical systems, ensuring model accuracy and adherence to project standards.

You will perform advanced clash detection with NavisWorks, develop 3D electrical models in Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP, and support field teams with best practices while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in BIM coordination or modeling, with significant electrical construction experience.
• Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional are a plus; OSHA 30 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex BIM model coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, and electrical systems.
• Perform advanced clash detection and resolve coordination issues with stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and update 3D electrical models from design documents and field input.
• Enforce BIM standards and Rosendin program guidelines to maintain model integrity.
• Prepare MEP coordination drawings and shop drawings from 3D models for fabrication and installation.
• Participate in inter-disciplinary coordination meetings and communicate resolutions.
• Conduct quality checks on BIM models for constructability and accuracy.
• Provide guidance to project teams and junior BIM staff on best practices.
