Job summary

FlexTG is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage contract setup, billing accuracy, and ongoing account support for an assigned portfolio. In this hybrid role based in Mesa, AZ, you’ll ensure timely and accurate billing, maintain contract data, and collaborate with internal teams, financial partners, and customers to support billing operations and deliver a high level of service.

You’ll manage base and usage billing, update records, and perform audits to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing, administrative, or customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic ERP or billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing for assigned contracts, including base billing, usage billing, and meter readings.
• Maintain and update contract records, including revisions, adjustments, and expiration dates.
• Set up and maintain contract records in ERP systems and billing platforms.
• Perform billing audits and health checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve billing and invoicing issues; recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with financial partners and banks on bundled billing, allocations, and corrections.
• Create and maintain invoice templates and support billing documentation.
• Assist with billing inquiries and escalations via email and phone.
• Partner with AR/Collections teams to resolve customer disputes and apply credits.
• Monitor aged invoices, meter health reports, and billing discrepancies.
