National Interstate Insurance Company (NIIC) is seeking an Accounting Representative I to join our Richfield, Ohio office on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on routine and complex billing processes, account reconciliation, and responsive service to internal and external customers.

You will work with multiple billing systems, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Aufgaben

• Performs routine and non-routine clerical/accounting functions per procedures.
• Provides billing information, account reconciliation, and billing problem resolution to internal and external customers.
• Utilizes multiple billing/state applications to service complex inquiries.
• Requires inbound and outbound phone support; follow-up on delinquent accounts with collections.
• Reconciles payments/receipts with account information and prepares account analyses.
• Gathers data to compile reports and ad hoc reports.
• Complies with regulations and company policies; performs other duties as assigned.
