Job summary

The IMA Group is seeking a Bilingual Registered Nurse Case Manager (RN) for Workers' Compensation in Amarillo, TX. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor, field-based with hybrid structure allowing local travel and remote documentation.

You will coordinate medical care for injured workers, liaise among providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys, and help drive timely recovery and return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• 3+ years of Workers' Comp Field Case Management experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Comfort working independently with a flexible caseload.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.
• Reliable transportation across the Amarillo area.
• Malpractice insurance or ability to obtain it.
• CCM/CRRN or similar certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans.
• Attend appointments and evaluate treatment progression.
• Communicate across providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers.
• Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports.
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty planning.
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations.
