Job summary

The IMA Group seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Case Manager (RN) for a 1099 independent contractor role in Boston, MA. This hybrid, field-based position blends local travel with remote documentation and has no bedside care responsibilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating treatment plans, attending appointments, and communicating with providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers to support return-to-work and ensure appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum of 3+ years in Workers' Comp Field Case Management.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee medical treatment plans for workers' compensation cases.
• Attend appointments and evaluate treatment progression.
• Communicate with providers, employers, attorneys, and carriers.
• Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Prepare timely, detailed case management reports.
• Support return-to-work and transitional duty planning.
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations.
