Job summary

The IMA Group in Denver, CO is seeking experienced Registered Nurse Case Managers (RN) on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This field-based role offers a flexible hybrid setup with travel to local sites and remote documentation.

Compensation ranges from $50–$65 per hour with a focus on return-to-work outcomes. We value autonomy, a strong clinical background, and the ability to coordinate between providers, employers, adjusters, and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience.
• CCM, CRRN, or related certification preferred.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain.
• Travel throughout Denver and surrounding areas required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor medical treatment plans for injured workers.
• Attend medical appointments and evaluate treatment progression.
• Communicate with providers, employers, adjusters, attorneys, and insurance carriers.
• Complete timely and detailed case management reports.
• Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Assist with return-to-work and transitional duty planning.
• Coordinate IMEs and job site evaluations as needed.
