Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Recruiter for the Frontline Talent Acquisition Team to support high-volume hiring, primarily for janitorial roles in the Los Angeles market. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, with a hybrid work setup in Los Angeles (In-office Mon-Thu at 1150 South Olive Street).

You will source, attract, and manage full lifecycle recruiting, from candidate outreach through negotiation and onboarding, collaborating with hiring managers to meet staffing goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting or staffing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in front-line or service roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Professionally communicate with candidates to facilitate the hiring process in person, via email, text and phone.
• Reach out to new candidates by phone or email.
• Coordinate and review background, drug-screen, and motor vehicle paperwork.
• Develop candidate leads through resume searches, job fairs, college recruiting, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Attend job fairs and promote ABM and open positions.
• Create and publish recruiting materials on internal and external systems.
• Maintain proper filing systems and candidate records.
• Screen, interview, and select candidates as needed.
• Drive applicant flow using multiple recruitment channels and tactics.
• Coordinate pre-employment onboarding actions as needed.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruiting with business needs.
