Job summary

Grainger is offering a 10-week, paid Business Intelligence internship in downtown Chicago. You will join the Digital Experience Analytics team to turn data into decision-ready insights and support Grainger’s digital channels.

The intern will build analytics skills across modern platforms, work with stakeholders across analytics, product, and technology, and present outcomes to leadership at the end of the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• Expected bachelor’s graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Evidence of self-directed learning, project work, internships, or coursework solving data problems.
• Experience with analytics tools; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, or Excel; Python or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze digital data to inform Grainger strategy and product decisions.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, technology, and business stakeholders.
• Gather, clean, explore, and analyze data from large digital and business ecosystems.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders to act on.
