Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a detail-oriented renewal analyst to support the account team with processing renewals, marketing analyses, and financial summaries for fully-insured and self-funded accounts.

You will analyze provider networks, coordinate with carriers and vendors, and assist in developing negotiation strategies to deliver optimal renewal outcomes. The role requires strong Excel skills and knowledge of insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year related work experience
• Valid insurance license (or must be obtained within 90 days of employment)
• Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
• Basic knowledge of compliance topics (HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Medicare).
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Knowledge of major fully-insured and self-funded lines of benefits insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability, EAP)

Responsibilities

• Initiates renewal projects on assigned accounts, gathers and validates information for renewal analysis and marketing purposes.
• Evaluates carrier utilization reporting to identify cost drivers and recommend plan changes.
• Coordinates renewal challenges (underwriting) and assists in renewal development.
• Creates new financial reporting packages from templates as needed.
• Conducts provider network comparison analyses and utilization reviews.
• Presents renewal summaries and marketing results to the account team for plan options and negotiation strategy.
• Executes plan option requests, marketing projects and necessary analysis to meet objectives.
