Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Morristown, NJ is seeking an analyst to support renewals for fully-insured and self-funded accounts. You will analyze marketing data, review provider utilization, and work with the account team on renewal strategy and plan options.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1+ year of related experience, and a valid insurance license (or within 90 days). Salesforce experience is preferred; strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 or more years related work experience.
• Valid insurance license (or must be obtained within ninety days).
• Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Knowledge of major fully-insured and self-funded lines of benefits insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability).

Responsibilities

• Initiates renewal projects on assigned accounts and gathers information for renewal analysis.
• Evaluates carrier utilization reporting to identify cost drivers and recommend plan changes.
• Coordinates renewal challenges (underwriting) and prepares financial summaries.
• Creates new financial reporting packages from templates as needed.
• Performs provider network comparison analysis and analyzes utilization.
• Presents renewal summaries and marketing results to the account team to determine plan options.
• Executes renewal options requests and supports account strategy objectives.
• Reviews marketing responses for accuracy and requests clarifications as needed.
• Maintains ongoing client maintenance projects and ensures data integrity.
