Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking a renewal analyst to support account teams in processing renewals, conducting marketing analyses, and preparing financial summaries for fully insured and self-funded accounts. The role includes provider network analysis and carrier utilization review to guide renewal strategies.

Key responsibilities include coordinating renewal efforts, creating reporting packages, and presenting results to the account team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; business or mathematics preferred.
• 1+ year related work experience.
• Valid insurance license (or must be obtained within 90 days).
• Continuing Education requirements for license renewal must be met.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Medicare.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Knowledge of major fully-insured and self-funded lines of benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, EAP).

Responsibilities

• Initiates renewal projects and gathers client information for renewal analysis and marketing.
• Evaluates carrier utilization reporting to identify cost drivers and suggest plan changes.
• Coordinates renewal challenges and underwriting support.
• Creates financial reporting packages from templates.
• Performs provider network and utilization analyses.
• Develops renewal strategy with account team and defines responsibilities.
• Prepares preliminary and final renewal presentations and marketing materials.
• Executes plan option requests and marketing projects to meet account objectives.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of marketing responses and requests clarifications as needed.
• Handles ongoing client maintenance projects.
