Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services is seeking an experienced customer service professional to support Producers by servicing existing accounts and pursuing new business. You will handle renewals, market applications to carriers, and prepare proposals for clients.

You will review policies, gather data for underwriting, and maintain accurate records in the agency system while delivering strong service and effective communication to clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four or more years related work experience.
• Valid Insurance License with ongoing Continuing Education requirements.
• Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Packages and markets applications to various carriers to obtain quotes.
• Negotiates prices, commissions, and/or coverages with carriers.
• Reviews policies, identifies deficiencies and determines appropriate level of coverage.
• Manages renewal process for expiring policies.
• Reviews client accounting history and responds to inquiries, including past due collections.
• Gathers information for applications and prepares presentations for clients.
• Prepares draft certificate templates and analyzes certificate requests.
• Inputs applications, creates letters and other forms of correspondence.
