Job summary

Group Management Services, Inc. is seeking Benefits Implementation Specialists in Richfield, OH. You’ll serve as the primary client contact during benefits program implementation and manage end-to-end setup with carriers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, multi-project management, and clear client communication in a hybrid work setting. A Life and Health license is required or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Currently have a state's license in Life and Health insurance or can obtain within 90 days of employment
• Prefer experience in health insurance and/or customer service
• Thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment requiring accuracy and follow-through
• Deep understanding of all benefits products and services
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multi-project management
• Clear and confident communication with clients and internal teams
• Tech savvy and able to meet critical deadlines
• Delivers a positive onboarding experience to new benefits clients

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation process
• Manage end-to-end implementation of employee benefits programs for new and existing clients
• Coordinate timelines, milestones, and deliverables with clients, carriers, and internal teams
• Review paperwork and carrier documentation to ensure accurate benefit plan setup
• Configure and maintain benefit plans, eligibility rules, deductions, and enrollment workflows
• Coordinate and administer open enrollment activities and post-enrollment processing
• Document activities and maintain project records
• Support annual benefit renewals by reviewing plan changes and configurations
• Provide excellent customer service with an ownership mentality
• Analyze completed payroll and hand off to Account Specialist team
