Job summary

Verity Credit Union, based in Seattle, WA, seeks a Benefits & HRIS Generalist to oversee benefits, HRIS, payroll, and HR operations in a hybrid role. You will partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate administration and a positive employee experience.

You will manage HRIS configuration, benefits programs, payroll, onboarding, compliance reporting, and HR projects while advising on policies and employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum of five years in HR with emphasis in benefits, HRIS, payroll, and HR operations.
• Minimum of three years administering HRIS; UKG experience preferred.
• Experience administering employee benefits programs (medical, COBRA, retirement, disability).
• Experience with payroll administration and applicable wage/hour regulations.
• Experience leading HR systems implementations or improvements.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee HRIS, ensuring data integrity, security, and maintenance of employee records.
• Lead configuration, testing, and launches of HRIS modules (UKG) and reporting.
• Lead benefits administration, enrollments, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee payroll processing in partnership with Accounting and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare HR reporting and audits.
• Provide HR training and support for managers and employees.
• Drive process improvements and HR technology enhancements.
