Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide live technical support for professional AV and display solutions, helping partners and end users diagnose issues, manage escalations, and document resolutions.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting and clear communication in a hybrid work environment. Minimum requirements include an associate degree in a related field and 3+ years in technical support or AV systems.

Formación

• Associate degree in electronics, audiovisual technology, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in technical support, electronics, AV systems, networking, or related environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically and communicate solutions to technical and nontechnical users.
• Foundational knowledge of digital AV signal paths, connectivity, TCP/IP networking, and IPTV environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide live technical support for professional displays, TVs, projectors, large-format LED systems, software and AV solutions.
• Diagnose issues across signal flow, cabling, input/output, network connectivity, and IPTV.
• Ask focused questions, research product information, isolate issues, and guide customers through safe procedures.
• Document case details, symptoms, steps, resolutions, escalations, and follow-ups in the case-management system.
• Own cases through resolution, manage callbacks and escalations, and stay updated on product knowledge.
