Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to deliver live support for professional AV and display solutions.

You will diagnose issues across displays, projectors, LED systems, networking, IPTV, and related software, while guiding users and partners through technical resolutions. The role requires an Associate degree in electronics or related field and 3+ years in technical support or AV environments.

Formación

• Associate degree in electronics, AV tech, information tech, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical support, electronics, AV systems, networking, field service, or customer service.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically, read technical docs, and communicate solutions to nontechnical users and integrators.
• Foundational knowledge of digital A/V signal paths, connectivity standards, cabling, IP networking, and IPTV environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide responsive live support for professional displays, televisions, projectors, LED systems, software, accessories, and AV solutions.
• Diagnose product operation, configuration, firmware, signal flow, cabling, input/output settings, network connectivity, and IPTV issues.
• Ask focused questions, research product information, isolate issues, and guide customers through safe technical procedures.
• Document customer details, symptoms, steps, resolutions, escalations in the case-management system.
• Own cases through resolution, prioritize callbacks, and stay current on product knowledge through training.
