Job summary

DLA Piper LLP is seeking a Conference Center Support Technician in Washington, DC to deliver concierge-level technology and audiovisual support for meetings and events. The role covers on-site and remote assistance, room setup, and proactive maintenance in collaboration with IT, AV, Reception, and Events teams.

Responsibilities include pre-event planning, real-time support during meetings, and thorough documentation of incidents and resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows and Office applications.
• Knowledge of device configuration and OS setup.
• Experience with hardware/software installation and printing networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide concierge-level technology and audiovisual support on-site and remotely.
• Prepare and configure conference rooms for in-person and virtual meetings.
• Coordinate with hosts to confirm presentation requirements and remote needs.
• Inspect, test and monitor conference room and event-space technology.
• Maintain room checks to ensure systems are operational and user-ready.
• Provide real-time support during meetings and events to minimize downtime.
• Document incidents and resolutions; maintain service-ticket updates.
