Qualifications

• Knowledge of DFMEA and design validation processes.
• Ability to review engineering drawings, specs and design documentation.
• Experience with CAD tools for 3D models and design reviews.
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering release activities for automotive closure systems and adjoining components.
• Develop and review 3D CAD models ensuring fit, finish and design intent.
• Lead and maintain DFMEA documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Review designs for compliance with engineering standards and design requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to address quality concerns and engineering changes.
• Create and maintain verification records, evidence packages and technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, interference checks and cross-functional program meetings.
• Support production readiness, quality objectives and program milestones.
