Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Closure Design Release Engineer to lead design, development, integration, and validation of automotive closure systems from concept to production launch.

You will drive 3D/2D CAD development for doors, hood, tailgate, and sealing systems, coordinate with BIW, Style, Ergonomics, and Manufacturing, and define DVP&Rs for water ingress, air leaks, and durability.

Qualifications

• Lead 3D/2D CAD development for closure assemblies.
• Coordinate with Styling, BIW, Vehicle Integration, Ergonomics and Manufacturing.
• Define and execute DVP&R for sealing, water ingress, and other tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D/2D CAD development for closure assemblies, including panels, hinges, latches, and sealing systems.
• Coordinate with Styling, BIW, Vehicle Integration, Ergonomics, and Manufacturing for packaging and clearance.
• Define and execute DVP&R for sealing, water ingress, slam durability, crash safety, and operation effort.
