Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Auto Liability Claim Representative to handle claims with a focus on timely, accurate investigation, evaluation, and resolution. This hybrid role supports claims across TN Franklin and OH Independence, combining field work with office collaboration to deliver exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 1 year bodily injury or equivalent training, and 3 years of auto claims experience, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and customer service

Qualifications

• One-year bodily injury liability claim handling experience or completion of Travelers Claim Representative training program is required.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and terminology; ability to articulate policies.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality auto claim handling including contacts, coverage, investigation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, providers, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Determine claim eligibility, coverage, liability, and settlement amounts.
• Ensure accurate documentation of claim files and transactions; escalate potential fraud or complex claims as needed.
• Coordinate with investigators, legal, and customer service teams as required.
