Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to investigate complex injury claims, including attorney-represented cases, and determine coverage and liability. You will consult with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to assess claim value, while navigating high-risk scenarios.

This hybrid role requires reporting to the office about four days per month for meetings, training, and teamwork, with an option to spend more days in-office.

Qualifications

Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases
Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim
Report to office for important meetings, training and collaboration about four days per month
