Job summary

Blackbird Health in PA is seeking an Autism Evaluator to combine neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments with ongoing evidence-based psychotherapy for children, adolescents, young adults. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to tailor care, balancing testing and therapy hours according to clinician strengths and patient demand.

You will provide diagnostic feedback to families, maintain timely documentation, and contribute to integrated care plans while collaborating with PMHNPs,

Qualifications

• Independently licensed PsyD in PA.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience delivering clinical care to children, adolescents, and families.
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations focusing on autism spectrum evaluations (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2).
• Synthesize assessment data into clear, clinically sound diagnostic conclusions.
• Deliver family feedback with clear, compassionate recommendations and care pathways.
• Manage evaluation timelines and oversee report-writing and scheduling adjustments.
• Provide direct psychotherapy to pediatric and young adult clients.
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments to establish treatment plans.
• Maintain ongoing integrated treatment plans with multidisciplinary providers.
• Maintain high documentation standards and timely clinical notes.
