Job summary

Davis+Gilbert LLP is seeking an Attorney Recruiting + Development Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting of lateral associates, partners, and temporary attorneys in New York. This role partners with the Chief Talent + Culture Officer and the Attorney Recruiting + Development Assistant to deliver an exceptional candidate experience and support the firm's long-term talent objectives.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for a proactive recruiting professional who drives complex hiring

Qualifications

• 3+ years of attorney recruiting experience within a top-tier law firm environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle recruiting processes with increasing independence.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished and client-focused approach.
• High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate independently while knowing when to elevate.
• Strong attention to detail with flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); ATS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and finalize search descriptions with hiring partners for lateral searches.
• Coordinate launches and distribution of searches internally and through agencies; set up search infrastructure.
• Participate in recruiting strategy and discussions with leadership and agencies.
• Review resumes, evaluate candidate qualifications, and assess fit with needs.
• Prepare candidate presentations and materials for hiring partners.
• Serve as primary point of contact for candidates, agencies, and partners.
