Job summary

Lydecker LLP in Miami seeks an associate attorney with 0-3+ years of civil defense litigation experience for a hybrid role in our Miami office. The candidate must be admitted to the FL Bar and hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school. You will work under a partner on premises liability, personal injury, and general liability matters.

Qualifications

This position requires a Florida bar license in good standing.
A JD from an ABA-approved law school is required.
0-3+ years in civil defense litigation, preferably in general liability or bodily injury.
Experience handling up to 15+ cases, defending depositions, and attending court hearings is valued.

Responsibilities

Must be willing and able to bill clients.
Draft/review petitions, motions, and written discovery.
Attend hearings and meetings with clients as requested.
Prepare for and attend depositions.
Assist with mediation and trial preparation.
