Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD, is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our Tools & Outdoor team in a hybrid role. You will support the full product lifecycle, collaborate across functions, and help drive launches and promotions for a managed product portfolio.

You will perform market research, pricing analysis, and develop strategic plans while coordinating with marketing, engineering and finance. A 0–3 year PM background and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
0–3 years of Product Management experience.
Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrated problem solving, research, and analytical skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

Manage the complete product lifecycle with guidance from the Product Manager, from concept to delivery.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to develop new products meeting company goals.
Work with brand marketing and channel teams to develop launch programs and promotions.
Develop marketing collateral, displays, advertising material, and web content.
Conduct end-user and competitive market research to determine pricing, margins, profitability.
Develop and execute strategic plans for a profitable product portfolio; stay aware of industry trends.
