Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management Leader to translate CDT strategy into a comprehensive CDP and to lead the PMT in delivering program outcomes. This hybrid role can be located in Raritan, NJ; Spring House, PA; or San Diego, CA, with up to 20% travel.

You will apply PM methodologies, manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional risk, and partner with TA Discovery, DPDS, and other teams to ensure successful program execution across early

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy) required.
• Project Management experience in R&D and PM methodologies required.
• Clinical research operational knowledge required.
• Experience across Phase I–IV studies preferred.
• PM Certification (PMP, CPM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enable CDT to deliver program outcomes by defining scope, timelines and budget with cross-functional partners.
• Apply PM methodologies to build scenarios, validate assumptions and surface risks for governance.
• Translate CDT strategy into a Compound Development Plan.
• Lead PMT and ensure operationalization of the CDP across functions.
• Create and maintain cross-functional risk-management registers.
• Monitor financials and schedule; drive changes and mitigation.
