Cambia Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Affordability Utilization Management and Appeals to lead an end-to-end affordability portfolio. The role focuses on opportunity identification, solution design, business case development, contracting, implementation, and value realization to reduce health care costs and improve accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, public health, nursing, pharmacy, finance, or related field.
• Eight or more years of leadership in healthcare with cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in affordability, cost management, value-based care, or medical management.
• Experience developing business cases and managing enterprise portfolios.
• Experience influencing executives and collaborating with Finance, Actuarial, Clinical Operations, and Technology.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute Cost Stewardship strategic roadmap across clinical, payment, network, and pharmacy levers.
• Lead end-to-end initiative lifecycle from opportunity to value realization.
• Monitor portfolio execution, identify barriers, and escalate blockers with interventions.
• Develop business cases with validated sizing and KPIs for implementation plans.
• Establish governance and reporting with executive communications for insights.
• Create tools and continuous improvement practices for governance and operating models.
• Evaluate vendor partnerships and coach a high-performing team.
• Provide direction to the team and foster accountability and growth.
