Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Affordability Utilization Management and Appeals to lead the affordability program office and drive measurable savings across health services operations. This hybrid role requires coordinating with senior leaders and Affordability Owners to set priorities and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field; MBA/MHA/MPH preferred.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience, incl. 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in affordability, cost management, value-based care, and relevant healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a Cost Stewardship strategic roadmap across Clinical/Medical Management, Payment Integrity, Network Management, and Pharmacy levers.
• Lead end-to-end initiative lifecycle from opportunity identification through execution with clear milestones and ownership.
• Monitor portfolio execution, identify dependencies, escalate blockers, and ensure delivery of savings targets.
• Translate opportunities into execution-ready initiatives with validated sizing, KPIs, and implementation plans.
• Establish governance, reporting, and executive communications to translate data into actionable insights.
• Develop standardized tools and continuous improvement practices for portfolio execution and governance.
