Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant Director of Affordability Utilization Management and Appeals to lead the enterprise affordability strategy. You will partner with senior leaders to prioritize portfolios, drive value realization, and ensure disciplined execution across affordability levers.

You will coach a high-performing team, advance governance and operating models, and deliver measurable cost reductions and better member outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in healthcare leadership, 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in affordability, cost management, value-based care, and medical management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute Cost Stewardship strategic roadmap across clinical, payment integrity, network and pharmacy levers.
• Lead end-to-end initiative lifecycle with clear milestones, ownership, and business rationale.
• Monitor portfolio execution, identify blockers, and escalate with recommended interventions.
• Translate opportunities into validated initiatives with KPIs and implementation plans.
• Establish governance and reporting frameworks with dashboards and executive communications.
• Develop standard tools and continuous improvement practices for portfolio execution.
