Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning across HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will work with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure safety, quality, and operability from commissioning through project closeout.

Hybrid work with on-site presence at job sites is required. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, QA, and suppliers to develop schedules, plans, and reports, advancing reliable renewable energy assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team with guidance and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status.
• Develop project milestone lists and commissioning plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA for alignment.
• Develop integrated P6 testing and commissioning schedules.
• Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports and actions.
• Monitor timelines and resources for successful delivery.
• Establish safety tagging, LOTO, and work permit programs.
