Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to lead ATE test bring-up, characterize units, and release programs to production. You’ll optimize pattern generation and debugging to close coverage gaps and design innovative tests to elevate test quality.

You will partner with the Cisco ASIC team and Tier-1 OSATs to handle high-volume manufacturing tests and resolve quality issues, helping ensure world-class hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in SOC/VLSI bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering.
• Experience with Advantest 93000 (Smartest 7/8) for characterization and production testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATE test bring-up and characterize units.
• Develop and release tests to production, improving coverage.
• Design innovative tests to improve test quality and reduce gaps.
