Cisco is seeking a Test Engineer in San Jose with 3+ years in SOC/VLSI bring-up to drive ATE test bring-up, characterization, and production release. You’ll work with the ASIC team to develop tests and improve coverage, ensuring production readiness and quality across OSAT partners.

You will lead testing initiatives, write scripts in C, C++, Java, PERL, and Python, and contribute to yield improvements in a fast-paced hardware environment. Hybrid work from San Jose office available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years’ experience in SOC/VLSI bring-up, production, characterization, and test engineering.

Responsabilités

• Own ATE test bring-up and partner with the Cisco ASIC team to bring up tests and characterize units.
• Design and implement new tests to improve coverage and test quality.
• Collaborate with Tier-1 OSATs to troubleshoot high-volume manufacturing tests and resolve quality issues.
