Job summary

Calance, Inc. is seeking an experienced Archive Production Support Engineer in Alpharetta, GA. The role focuses on supporting archive solutions for electronic documents, ensuring regulatory compliance in a mixed UNIX/Windows environment.

You will work in an agile squad with infrastructure teams, developers, and product owners, handling mission-critical applications with real-time dependencies. The position is a 1-year assignment starting ASAP, with a pay range of 60–70 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Linux environments.
• Good understanding of networking, storage technologies (WORM).
• Strong analytical and application troubleshooting skills.
• Very good Python and shell scripting and programming skills.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g., IBM DB2).
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with change, incident, and problem management.
• Experience with SDLC and code review.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Splunk.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, with initiative and good judgment.
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive, confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Manage change, incident, and problem processes using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, following ITIL practices.
• Work in Linux environments, using Python/shell scripting and job scheduling tools such as Autosys.
• Improve and evolve the archive process, including documentation, best practices, tracking, and scoping.
