Job summary

Corps Team is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer for a 6-month contract in Atlanta, GA. The role is hybrid, onsite 4 days per week, focusing on building and operating Linux-based infrastructure with IaC, automation, and cloud-native practices.

You will contribute to secure, scalable platforms, collaborate with delivery teams, and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise-level Linux administration experience.
• Proven IaC and configuration management expertise (Puppet, Git, Packer; Ansible/Terraform preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab) and hybrid/AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and supporting Unix/Linux platforms across on-prem and cloud.
• Developing and maintaining IaC and automation tooling to reduce manual work.
• Acting as a subject matter expert within Agile squads in Linux areas.
• Delivering automated, secure and scalable Linux-based solutions.
• Collaborating with security, cloud and application teams to ensure resilience.
• Ensuring compliance and operational resilience across systems.
• Troubleshooting complex platform issues affecting critical services.
