Job summary

Vy Systems is seeking an experienced CI/CD Automation and Linux Engineer for a full-time contract in Alpharetta, GA. You will architect, build, and optimize automated deployment pipelines, manage Linux servers, and drive infrastructure automation to ensure rapid releases and reliability.

Responsibilities span CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions, IaC with Ansible/Terraform, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related discipline.
• 5+ years in DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Linux system administration.
• Hands-on enterprise Linux administration and hardening (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Proficient in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.
• IaC and configuration management: Ansible, Terraform.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes; Bash/Python scripting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in English.
• Eligible to work in the US (C2C) and reside locally in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines and automated release workflows.
• Administer Linux OS (RHEL/Ubuntu) across environments.
• Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and scripts.
• Manage Docker/Kubernetes containerized apps and clusters.
• Troubleshoot build failures and deployment bottlenecks promptly.
• Collaborate with software, QA, and cloud teams in Agile sprints.
• Perform backups, patching, security remediation, and health checks.
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, inventories, and runbooks.
