Job summary

SAGE is seeking an AR Support Specialist to assist with daily accounts receivable operations, invoice handling, and customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment. You will support payment processing, check entry, and billing while maintaining accurate customer records and helping ensure timely collections.

In this role, you will respond to inquiries via phone, email, and tickets, manage invoices and statements, and collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in customer service, AR, or billing.
• Experience with payment processing and collections preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and account management systems.
• Strong accuracy, time management, and customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently within established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and tickets regarding invoices, statements, payments, and accounts.
• Create and issue customer invoices and ensure billing accuracy.
• Maintain and document support tickets and follow up for resolution.
• Assist with daily check entry and posting of payments.
• Process monthly AutoPay transactions per procedures and schedules.
• Monitor past-due accounts, send aging notices, and conduct weekly follow-ups.
• Research billing discrepancies and escalate unresolved matters to AR Manager.
• Maintain confidential records of accounts and transactions.
• Provide backups for other AR functions as needed.
