Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• 2-4 years of BSA/AML/CFT and OFAC compliance, risk, audit, or financial-crime experience.
• Familiarity with banking products and services.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to learn independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational and project-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance oversight reviews of business lines and third parties to assess adherence to laws, regulations, and policy.
• Serve as a subject matter resource to ensure documents and projects align with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Contribute to AML guidance and standards for lines of business.
• Partner with lines and third parties to implement AML initiatives and provide training and documentation.
• Provide advisory support to the first line of defense with guidance and issue resolution.
• Support risk assessments of new or changing products, services, and procedures for BSA and OFAC.
• Assist with implementing and improving procedures, tools, and controls.
• Monitor third-party contractual obligations related to service delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of AML regulatory environment and emerging risks.
• Review laws and guidance to communicate key considerations to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
