Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Director, AI Platform & Portfolio Delivery to translate our AI strategy into a prioritized, governed portfolio of AI initiatives. You will own the portfolio intake and delivery model, partnering with PMO to balance business value, capacity, risk, and timing.

You will lead AI delivery through a Technical AI Director/Builder responsible for AWS-based platforms, agentic frameworks, and early use cases, ensuring secure, scalable production solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading software/data/ML engineering teams delivering production platforms
• Experience scaling delivery from PoC to production with governance and operating models
• Strong cloud background (AWS) and modern engineering practices (CI/CD, observability, security)
• Proven ability to manage leaders and drive outcomes through others

Responsibilities

• Own the AI portfolio intake process with PMO alignment
• Maintain a transparent, prioritized AI roadmap and communicate sequencing decisions
• Translate strategy into an executable delivery roadmap with milestones and ownership
• Define, track and report realized value from AI initiatives
• Establish and own the AI delivery operating model and SDLC practices
• Provide leadership to the Technical AI Director/Builder and ensure security/compliance
• Balance rapid experimentation with platform sustainability and enterprise readiness
• Partner with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Technology Risk teams
• Lead hiring plans and develop AI leaders
