Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Director of AI Platform & Portfolio Delivery to translate AI strategy into a prioritized portfolio and ensure enterprise-grade delivery. You will own intake, governance, and delivery models, partnering with PMO to balance business value, capacity, risk, and timing.

Lead AI delivery through a Technical AI Director/Builder on AWS-based platforms and guardrails to scale responsibly. This role blends portfolio leadership, delivery accountability, and platform stewardship, driving

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading software/data/ML engineering teams.
• Proven ability to scale delivery from PoC to production.
• Strong cloud and modern engineering background (AWS, CI/CD, security).
• Experience managing senior leaders and driving cross-functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own AI portfolio intake and prioritization in partnership with PMO.
• Evaluate AI opportunities for business value, feasibility, risk, and time-to-impact.
• Maintain a transparent AI roadmap and communicate decisions to executives.
• Translate strategy into executable delivery milestones with owners and metrics.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and platform guardrails for secure AI delivery.
• Lead and develop AI leaders and contributors, with clear goals and growth paths.
• Balance rapid experimentation with long-term platform sustainability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams on governance.
