Job summary

BetMGM seeks a Director, AI Platform & Portfolio Delivery to translate AI strategy into a governed, executable portfolio. You will oversee the AI intake model, align with PMO, and drive value through AWS‑based platforms and scalable AI initiatives.

You will lead the AI delivery via a Technical AI Director/Builder, ensuring secure, compliant solutions from intake to production while balancing risk and time to market.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/data/ML engineering leadership.
• Proven experience scaling delivery from proof‑of‑concept to production.
• Strong cloud and modern engineering background (AWS; CI/CD; observability; security fundamentals).
• Demonstrated ability to manage leaders and drive outcomes through others.
• Preferred: experience delivering AI/ML platforms in production.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI portfolio intake process with PMO alignment and prioritization.
• Evaluate AI opportunities based on business value, feasibility, risk, and time‑to‑impact.
• Maintain a transparent, prioritized AI roadmap and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into an executable delivery roadmap with milestones and ownership.
• Define reusable architecture patterns and platform guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Lead and develop AI leaders and hiring plans aligned to portfolio growth.
• Balance rapid experimentation with long‑term platform sustainability and reliability.
