Harvard University’s Harvard Business School IT is seeking a Senior Application Analyst, AI Operations to oversee reliable AI services, platforms, and integrations. You will coordinate across teams, manage incidents, and translate operational needs into scalable processes, ensuring secure, well-supported AI operations for educators and staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with security and procurement teams, on-site presence with hybrid work, and driving continuous improvement in AI service

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to administer and support enterprise AI services, SaaS platforms, and integrations.
• Experience with testing, validation, documentation, and implementation of connectors, APIs, or integrations.
• Working knowledge of IAM, authentication, role-based access, and data access controls.
• Proven track record coordinating technical incident resolution including major incidents with vendors.
• Experience managing service plans, roadmaps, rollouts, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
• Experience using operational dashboards and service data to monitor adoption and performance.
• Familiarity with software licensing and procurement processes.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams and provide trusted advisory support.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive solution-focused mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer the AI services lifecycle including provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, configuration, and ongoing operational support.
• Coordinate with AI Strategy and Capabilities teams to translate solutions into supported services.
• Implement service plans, roadmaps, and lifecycle activities in partnership with stakeholders.
• Test, validate, document, and implement connectors between AI services, platforms, and Model Context Protocol servers.
• Monitor service health, usage, token utilization, and performance trends; propose improvements.
• Coordinate AI service rollouts, upgrades, releases, and post-implementation validation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on AI service operations for projects and support decisions.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents affecting AI platforms and integrations, including major incidents with vendors.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with security and identity teams on reviews, data protection, and responsible AI practices.
• Support licensing and procurement activities by maintaining inventories and gathering requirements.
